Professional Registration

Licensure as a Professional Engineer is essential for many engineers in the energy systems field. An important element of the Energy Systems minor is preparation of students to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination, the first step toward professional registration. Review instruction will occur in the senior year as part of the capstone design course. It is strongly recommended that all students take the FE examination in the Spring of their senior year.
